Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Archimede ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit our website or join our waiting list. It also explains your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data Controller
The data controller is Valerio Foddai, based in Palermo, Italy. For any privacy-related request you can contact us via our contact page.
What data we collect
At this stage Archimede is in a pre-launch waiting list phase. The only personal data we collect is:
- Email address — provided voluntarily when you join the waiting list.
- Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date/time of visit). This data is collected automatically and used only for security and analytics purposes.
We do not collect names, payment information, or any other personal data at this stage.
Why we collect it
- To notify you when Archimede launches and to send you early access.
- To understand demand for the product (e.g. willingness to pay).
- To maintain the security and performance of our website.
The legal basis for processing is your explicit consent, given when you submit your email address.
Cookies and tracking
We use essential session cookies necessary to operate the website, and — with your consent — analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site.
Google Analytics 4(Google LLC) — collects anonymous usage data (pages visited, session duration, geographic region, device type) via cookies. This data does not identify you personally. Google acts as a data processor on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement. Data is retained for a maximum of 14 months. Google Analytics cookies are only activated after you give explicit consent via the cookie banner. You can review Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.
Vercel Analytics(Vercel Inc.) — collects anonymous, cookieless traffic data (page views, referrer, device type). It does not use cookies and does not collect any personally identifiable information. It is active regardless of cookie consent as it falls outside the scope of cookie legislation. You can review Vercel's privacy practices at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
You can change or withdraw your consent for GA4 cookies at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
How long we keep your data
We retain your email address until you request deletion or until Archimede launches and a new privacy policy comes into effect. Usage data (logs) is retained for a maximum of 90 days.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your email address is stored in Supabase (supabase.com), the database platform we use to manage waiting list submissions. Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf, meaning they store and secure your data according to our instructions. Supabase is GDPR-compliant and their privacy practices can be reviewed at supabase.com/privacy. No other third party has access to your email address.
If you consent to analytics cookies, anonymous usage data is shared with Google LLC via Google Analytics 4. Anonymous, cookieless traffic data is also processed by Vercel Inc. via Vercel Analytics. See the "Cookies and tracking" section above for details.
International transfers
Your data may be stored on servers located outside Italy but within the European Economic Area, or in countries with adequate data protection standards recognised by the European Commission.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the EU/EEA you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data at any time.
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent — unsubscribe at any time by contacting us.
- Lodge a complaint — with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
To exercise any of these rights, please use our contact page. We will respond as soon as possible.
Children's privacy
Archimede is not intended for anyone under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted their data, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. We will notify waiting list members by email of any significant changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
