Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Archimede ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit this website, join our early-access list, or get in touch through our contact form. It also explains your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Archimede has officially launched. If you create an account and use the Archimede app at app.getarchimede.com, that account and your collection data are covered by the app's own Privacy Policy, available from within the app under Profile. This page only covers data collected by this marketing website.

Data Controller

The data controller is Valerio Foddai, based in Palermo, Italy. For any privacy-related request you can contact us via our contact page.

What data we collect

Through this website, the personal data we collect is:

  • Early-access list — your email address, and, if provided, whether you'd be willing to pay for Archimede and how much, when you join our early-access list.
  • Contact form — your name, email address, and message, if you get in touch via our contact form.
  • Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date/time of visit). This data is collected automatically and used only for security and analytics purposes.

We do not collect payment information on this website — subscriptions, if any, are handled inside the app itself.

Why we collect it

  • To send you early access and product updates, if you join our early-access list.
  • To understand demand for the product (e.g. willingness to pay).
  • To respond to messages sent through our contact form.
  • To maintain the security and performance of our website.

The legal basis for processing is your explicit consent, given when you submit your email address or contact form.

Cookies and tracking

We use essential session cookies necessary to operate the website, and — with your consent — analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site.

Google Analytics 4(Google LLC) — collects anonymous usage data (pages visited, session duration, geographic region, device type) via cookies. This data does not identify you personally. Google acts as a data processor on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement. Data is retained for a maximum of 14 months. Google Analytics cookies are only activated after you give explicit consent via the cookie banner. You can review Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.

Vercel Analytics(Vercel Inc.) — collects anonymous, cookieless traffic data (page views, referrer, device type). It does not use cookies and does not collect any personally identifiable information. It is active regardless of cookie consent as it falls outside the scope of cookie legislation. You can review Vercel's privacy practices at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

You can change or withdraw your consent for GA4 cookies at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

How long we keep your data

We retain your early-access list entry until you request deletion or until we complete our launch communications. Contact form messages are retained as long as needed to handle your request. Usage data (logs) is retained for a maximum of 90 days.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your email address (and early-access list answers) is stored in Supabase (supabase.com), the database platform we use to manage early-access submissions. Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf, meaning they store and secure your data according to our instructions. Supabase is GDPR-compliant and their privacy practices can be reviewed at supabase.com/privacy.

Contact form submissions are delivered to us via Resend (resend.com), our transactional email provider. Resend acts as a data processor on our behalf; see resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

If you consent to analytics cookies, anonymous usage data is shared with Google LLC via Google Analytics 4. Anonymous, cookieless traffic data is also processed by Vercel Inc. via Vercel Analytics. See the "Cookies and tracking" section above for details.

International transfers

Your data may be stored on servers located outside Italy but within the European Economic Area, or in countries with adequate data protection standards recognised by the European Commission.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are in the EU/EEA you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data at any time.
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent — unsubscribe at any time by contacting us.
  • Lodge a complaint — with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

To exercise any of these rights, please use our contact page. We will respond as soon as possible.

Children's privacy

Archimede is not intended for anyone under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted their data, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the website evolves. We will notify early-access subscribers by email of any significant changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
